Latino celebrities and influencers have joined forces to send a crucial message to their community: Habla Y Vota
“For the first time in history, there’s a new rule,” Emmy award-winning journalist Jorge Ramos begins. “No one, absolutely no one, can make it to the White House without the Hispanic vote.” According to CNN, Latinos now make up the largest minority group in the United States and play a critical role in determining whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will become the nation’s next president as a result.

Comedian George Lopez warns Latinos to not miss out on the opportunity to vote by waiting on anyone to validate their decision. “You don’t need to take a chaperone. Go vote,” he says, putting all jokes aside. Prince Royce joins in by alluding that one vote makes a difference no matter how insignificant it may seem.
“I think it’s important that as a community, we recognize we have a voice,” The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon adds in the call to action that addresses Latinos ongoing fight for equality.
