The class of 2017 is nearing the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, and Latino students are taking to Instagram in multitudes to share snippets of their stories in the form of grad cap captions of resilience and pride.

The #LatinxGradCaps hashtag, reportedly started in 2016 by Latina Rebels founder Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodriguez, gives students of Latino ancestry a way to cap off their academic accomplishments by celebrating being brown and woke.
