Orange is the New Black premiered Season 3 just weeks ago and already the newest episodes are being filmed.
Jessica Pimentel, who plays Maria Ruiz and takes on a dramatic turn this season, posted her Season 4 contract on her Instagram account. “Signed, sealed, delivered,” she wrote in the caption (below). Talk about doing time.

Andrew McCarthy, who segued into a prolific directing career with Orange Is The New Black, Happyish, Grace and Frankie and more, further cemented the news when he spoke to Deadline about his favorite directorial brainchild. “I love all my children equally, but my head is totally in the Orange is the New Black world now.”
There you have it, the newest season of OITNB is underway.
