Did we miss something? Are we the people being punk’d? Last we checked, Donald Trump is anti-immigrant and hateful towards his female counterparts. So, why is Nevada his third consecutive win with a majority of his votes among Latinos and women?
“We won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people,” Trump said pompously during his victory speech in Nevada, Tuesday night (Feb. 23). “You know what I really am happy about, because I’ve been saying it for a long time, 46 percent with the Hispanics, 46 percent, No. 1 with hispanics. I’m really happy about that.”
Forty-six percent? Number one? That’s what the numbers are saying, with Rubio in second at 24.3 percent, and Ted Cruz at 21.2 percent. What’s more, according to a new CBS entrance poll, 45 percent of women who were polled supported Trump, while 27 percent and 18 percent were for Rubio and Cruz, respectively.
Let’s not forget Trump is the same guy who blamed Mexicans for “bringing drugs, crime and rapists” to America; the same man who called women “fat pigs” and “slobs” and blamed it on a culture of political correctness in one fell swoop.
Are enough of us not voting? Or are we being seriously bamboozled? So many questions, so little answers…
