Heavy is the head that wears the crown and as the hottest female MC in the rap game Nicki Minaj feels every ounce of it—especially when it comes to beef. Regardless of the touts artists and media alike may have thrown her way, she always silences those remarks and rumors with ease or most recently, “No, no no, shade.”
Yet, in a male dominated industry where the old school myth of “there can only be one star female,” the claws are always out and things can go from 0 to 100 real quick. Nevertheless, with a bevy of collaborations under her belt for 2014 ranging from Beyonce to Jessie J and Ariana Grande, it’s apparent that Nicki is all about female empowerment and uplifting her fellow ladies. No beef here, just positive vibes and girl power.
With an official release date for her highly anticipated second album, The Pinkprint, we’re hoping for some dope collaborations. After all she is the unofficial queen of remixes. Aside from the usual male, female collab we’ve got our fingers crossed for a slew of female mashups on this album—something like a feel good ode to our favorite old school jam “Ladies Night” to put all the rumors surrounding Nicki’s ability to share the spotlight to rest.

Remy Ma
Since the ruler’s return, fans and audiences alike have been raving for a collab from New York’s finest female MC’s. Can you imagine the level narcissism on one track? And from the looks of it, neither Remy nor Nicki have denied the rumors. Guess we’ll have to keep our fingers crossed and ears to the street for any news.
Missy Elliott
The veteran rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer has a bevy of talents that would take a Nicki track from 0 to 100, real quick.
Kelis
If Peter Rosenberg thought “Starships” wasn’t hip-hop enough then he also won’t approve of this collab either, but who cares. Kelis’ futuristic, raspy and off-the-beaten trail sense of style and music would make a very memorable mashup with her Minajesty.
Junglepussy
Her name says it all. This rap newcomer hailing from Brooklyn is equipped with mouth and then some as her lyrics boast of the usual sh*t talking and raunchy phrases, all of which are right up Minaj’s alley.
Katie Got Bandz
Minaj has already hopped on the Chiraq, Drillinois wave so it’s only right Ms. Bandz be up next.
Lorde
As random and left field as this collaboration might seem to some, we also say why not? If Rick Ross can hop on “Royals” the possibilities are endless.
SZA
We can already envision something magical brewing between these two. Chill wave meets rap, it’s the biggest trend in music today.
Yukimi Nagano
The vocal master and front gal of electronic band Little Dragon’s quirky voice would make for a great mash up with Nicki’s many personalities—Roman, Harajuku Barbie, Martha, you take your pick.
Gwen Stefani
Punk rock’s queen is due to make some more next level music, and without a doubt Nicki would be the best candidate. Remember that Eve and Stefani run in the mid 2000’s? Nothing but hits.
Miley Cyrus
Only a 21-year old from Nashville could keep up with Nicki’s crazy antics. It only seems right that these risk takers combine their talents and unleash Youtube shattering creations. Honestly, they might break the internet.
Foxy Brown
Back in the day, Foxy held it down with swag raps and impeccable flows. Decades later we’re sure she still has that same feistiness bubbling inside of her. Remember, Caribbean girls run it.
Lana Del Rey
Del Rey’s sultry persona is hot and has already proven to sound like heaven over rap beats. Just reference the underground mashup with A$AP Rocky “Ridin'” if you don’t believe us.
Jhene Aiko
Aiko’s sweet, airy vocals in the midst of Nicki’s chameleon flow would be interesting to say the least.
