Since 2005, Lollapalooza has been the weekend destination festival for music lovers across the globe. Drones of enthusiasts migrate to Grant Park in Chicago, IL not only to witness some of their favorite artists perform live, but for a fresh intro to a gang of groups they’ve never even heard of before.

1. It’s not just a music festival
It’s a cultural experience. Along with all the great music you can enjoy great eats from 30 of the most popular Chicago vendors at Chow Town and if you’re looking for food naturally grown you can stop at the Farmers Market.
2. You can stream it live
Can’t make it to Chicago? Don’t worry, thanks to RedBull TV you can stream all three days for free. The LollaLiveStream will have a number of channels where you can catch all the performances, artist interviews, behind the scenes access, and festival highlights.
3. There’s family fun
Kidpalooza is a festival within a festival each day from 11AM to 5PM where parents and kids can listen to family-friendly bands and participate in a number of fun activities.
4. Lolla Cares Lolla brings awareness to great causes with Lolla Cares, the part of the festival where music fans can learn more about the world around them though a variety of organizations working to change the world. Check out the organizations that will be at this year’s festival.

9. There’s a Lolla scholarship
For the past three years Lolla has teamed up with Berklee College of Music to provide the Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship. The scholarships include an annual four-year full tuition award given to an incoming freshman, a five week full tuition scholarship for the summer session the Berklee Almuni scholarship which allows a Berklee alumni band to perform at Lollapalooza.
