Grace Bush is an inspiration. The intelligent Florida teen did the unthinkable by graduating from college before graduating high school. Last week, Miss Grace received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University, a week before she got her high school diploma.
The noteworthy feat is all thanks to FAU’s dual-enrollment program, which allows young scholars to earn credit for selected college courses while in high school. “I started when I was 13 at Broward College,” she said, “and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years.”
Grace also revealed that she was following in the footsteps of her older siblings. “My two older sisters are doing it and I’m the third to do it. My oldest sister already graduated and my second oldest sister is graduating in the summer.”
Grace plans on becoming chief justice of the United States and plans to spend her summer preparing for the LSAT before pursuing her Masters degree this fall. You go girl!
