Although concerts are annoying, sweaty and messy, they are also life changing and exhilarating. We all know that the number one summer tour in the works right now is Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On The Run tour, but not everyone can afford those $100 nosebleed tickets.
Summer time is about having fun, hanging out and waking up to do it all over again. There are so many festivities that we’d hate to see pass you by. Considering that there are only two full months left until the season is over, it’s about time you turn up! Here’s the Vixen summer festivities guide for you to indulge in.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé On The Run tour (June 25- Aug. 5)

Budweiser Made In America Festival (Aug. 30-31)
Two-day festival/concert. It usually takes place in Philadelphia. This year, Jay Z has decided to expand to L.A.
Dollar and a Dream Tour (July 3-23)
J. Cole is back at it with Dollar and a Dream 2. It’s a TBA concert that only costs $1. This year it’s coming to NY on July 15. The location is to be announced.

Lollapalooza (Aug 1-3)
Last year the lineup was crazy. This year, it’s even better. The concert takes place in Chicago, IL. and this year’s line-up includes Nas, Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon, Lorde, Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino and more.
Afro Punk Festival (Aug 23-24)
An eclectic festival with live music, vibrant art and good vibes. This year D’Angelo, SZA and more will perform.

Hudson Music Project (July 11-13)
Takes place in Saugerties, NY. This year the headliner is Kendrick Lamar!

Toyota Concert Series (May 16-Sept. 5)
TODAY brings artists to Rockefeller Center for live performances all summer. Performances to come include Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Jason Mraz and more.
Electric Zoo Festival (Aug. 29-31)
Located on Randall’s Island the Electric Zoo Festival will feature David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Kaskade and more this year.
