Method #1: Our secret weapon in fighting yellow choppers is hydrogen peroxide. In fact, most teeth whiteners list hydrogen peroxide as one of the first few ingredients, so pull that ugly brown bottle from underneath your sink and start bleaching.
What you’ll need:
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Cotton Swabs
- Baking Soda
- Soak a cotton bud in hydrogen peroxide, smile and rub it across the fronts and backs of teeth. (Be careful not to swallow the peroxide)
- Keep smiling and allow the hydrogen peroxide sit on teeth for 30 seconds.
- Use your favorite toothpaste and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of baking soda onto the toothbrush and brush as usual.
- Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes
- Repeat this 3-4 times a week for two weeks for a noticeably brighter smile.
Method #2 – Lemon juice is a great bleaching agent, use this zesty whitening formula 3-4 times a week.
What You’ll Need:
- Baking Soda
- Lemon Juice
How to:
- Wipe teeth dry with a washcloth.
- Mix 1 tsp of baking soda with a few squeezes of fresh lemon juice.
- Brush on the mixture with your toothbrush and allow it to sit on your teeth for no longer than 1 minute.
- Rinse the mixture away with water and continue to brush as usual.
- Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes
- Repeat for 3-4 times a week for 2 weeks for a noticeably brighter smile.
Method #3– This is a no-fuss whitening solution that gets in between teeth for a noticeably whiter smile.
What you’ll need:
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Water
How to:
- Brush your teeth with your favorite toothpaste as usual.
- Mix equal parts water and hydrogen peroxide into a glass and swish it around your mouth.
- Use the rinse from 30 seconds to 1 minute. Be very careful not to swallow the mixture.
- Spit out the mixture and rinse with water again.
- Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes
- Repeat this 3-4 times a week for 2 weeks.
