It’s the end of the week and we’re sure you’ve heard enough of “wow, you look tired!” Well, I’ve got four easy ways to look well rested that doesn’t include costly and invasive doctors visits.
1. Unload The Bags
So that late night sushi-run caused ugly under eye bags, huh? Make sure you guzzle as much H2O as you can to rehydrate your body. It’s also helpful to rest an ice cold cloth over your eyes for 10 minutes. If you’re in a rush, roll a Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff roller under the eyes to smooth out unflattering bags.
The next step to looking like sleeping beauty is to highlight. To get a warm glow, use a concealer two shades lighter than your skin tone.
Here’s where to highlight:
- Underneath the eyes
- Down the bridge of your nose
- The inner-corner of the eye
- The brow bone
Highlighting the brow bone will give you an instant eye-lift. To get this done in a snap, use L’Oreal’s True Match Super Blendable Concealer Crayon. Use a shimmery shadow to highlight the inner corners of the eyes for a bright-eyed look.
Droopy eyes are the #1 culprit of looking drowsy. Curl your lashes and load up on mascara to look alert and rested. Don’t have time? Glue on a pair of natural-looking falsies and blend your lashes together with mascara.
Return color to your face (this is especially important after highlighting) with blush. Using a cream brush rather than powder to give your cheeks a youthful, effortless look. Pop on a cheek stain with your fingers to the cheek bones.
