Although it’s cold outside and you may not want to head to the the gym, there are no excuses for not keeping the body tight. People usually wait until after the holidays to get their body right for warm weather, but the beauty of working out regularly (no breaks!) is you have more room to eat whatever your tummy desires.

Note: Each of these exercises require 10 repetitions for effective results.
Lay flat on a bench and lift your back upward to about 45 degrees. Next, bring your knees in towards your chest (your back should still be raised), then extend your legs out. If you’re doing this exercise correctly, your ab area should feel the burn.
Lie flat on your back. Lift your legs to create a 90 degree angle. Next, lower your legs leaving them six inches above the ground. Your legs should remain completely straight throughout this exercise.
Lie flat on your back and pose in the yoga eagle position. While remaining in this position, allow your elbows and your knees to touch by doing a crunch.
Planking is more than just a Twitter craze; it can also be beneficial to your abs. Lie flat with your face towards the ground. Lift your body by supporting it with your elbows and feet. Keep your body as straight as possible to gain full benefits of this exercise. Hold this position for 20 to 60 seconds.
