1. Zoe Saldana puts mayonnaise in her hair.
“My mother was a hippie and very health conscious, so growing up, she always encouraged my sisters and I to be as natural as possible. She gave us a book she bought at a garage sale about natural beauty remedies and we used to look up everything, like how to make masks out of oatmeal or give our hair highlights using henna tea or even rum. Once a year, we all still get together and put mayonnaise in our hair for old times’ sake.” via Refinery 29
2. Kimora Lee Simmons uses vaseline on her eyeshadow.
“A little dab on top of eyeshadow creates such a great evening effect.” via Marie Claire
3. Tracee Ellis Ross dry brushes her whole body.
“I dry brush as often as possible. I like to sit in front of the TV and work on my ‘problem areas.’ I don’t drink coffee, so I especially do it when I’m really tired and can’t wake up. It gets the circulation flowing, which is key.” via T Magazine
4. Meagan Good swears by cream eyeliner.
“Every girl should use cream eyeliner and a slanted brush to apply eye makeup,” Good notes. “You get more control when drawing on the line, because powder eyeliners don’t show up well, and strictly liquid eyeliners can be very messy.” via Yahoo
5. Beyoncé loves Aquaphor.
“I use Aquaphor for everything — on my elbows, on my feet. [I wear perfume] in my hair, because a lot of people get a nice whiff of your hair when you give hugs!” via People Magazine
