It’s game time, Vixens! This Sunday the New England Patriots will go head-to-head against the New York Giants for Super Bowl XLVI. This game is really important for “him” because he most likely views it as a re-match of the two teams after the Giants took home the trophy back in 2008. The question now is what do you do during the longest 4-5 hours of your life?
VV has rounded up five things that you can do to keep yourself busy while he watches the Super Bowl.
1. Watch It With Him
Let’s just say you’re a huge football fan. What better way to bring it in than to watch it with him? If you really hate the game, you can still watch it with him. There is always the crazy half-time performances and highly entertaining commercial ads to look forward to.
2. Throw a Party
This is the best thing you could do if you have to be in the house while he’s watching the game. If he invites some of his friends over you can cook, serve and just play hostess for the evening. You’ll be so busy the game will be over before you know it.
3. Invite Your Girls Over
Assuming that you have more than one television in the house, you can invite two of your girlfriends over! While he’s in the living room, you and your girls can watch chick flicks, cyber stalk and just have girl talk.
4. Escape
You can escape literally and figuratively. Dive in to a good book that will transform you in to a character from whatever novel you pick up. (Make sure whatever you read is a nonstop page turner). You’ll be so busy reading, chances are you might not hear him yelling. If staying in the house is too much for you, go out and pamper yourself with a mani and pedi or massage.
5. Leave Him With the Guys
This is probably the easiest thing you can do. Allowing his friends to come over so that they all can yell at the top of their lungs at one another while you aren’t around is the best. No stress!
