Beyoncé is one of the top performers in the world as well as one of the most private. With her revealing documentary Life Is But A Dream debuting Saturday (Feb. 16) on HBO, we will get a glimpse of Bey’s life behind the curtain. The “Crazy In Love” singer, who made this documentary for her daughter Blue Ivy, says it took her 3 years to complete. Jay-Z’s wife opens up about her miscarriage and surrogate rumors, within her documentary which premiered last night in New York. Oprah interviewed Bey at the premiere and claimed her video auto-biography is a “game changer.”
BaddieBey says, “I always battle with, ‘How much do I reveal about myself?'” But she admitted, “I felt that after 16 years of being a public singer, people didn’t know who I was.”
With its TV premiere quickly approaching, we compiled a list of what we hope to see and learn about the Grammy award-winning performer.
1. The Birth of Blue Ivy
We hope that throughout the documentary, we the very early stages of Blue Ivy, from finding out she was preggers to the birth of her heir. Considering Bey is a league of her own, we wouldn’t be surprised if she had an entire production set up in her concealed hospital wing.

Beyoncé is very poised and well put together, but Sasha Fierce gets the job done by any means necessary. That’s why she birthed her alter-ego during her “Crazy In Love” days. We’ve heard the very rare time she curses on her tracks but we’d like to see Bey ring the alarm boss style during her documentary.
3. Natural Hair
Bey is known to be au naturale but it’s been a while since we’ve seen her real hair. If this is her fly-on-the-wall documentary, then we want to see it all. The good and bad hair. It would be nice to see her without her bomb weave and flawless makeup.
4. Beyonce and Jay-Z Alone
Paparazzi is really good at catching hip-hop’s power couple out and about, but what happens behind closed doors? It would be good to see Jay and Bey talking causally, especially those moments where they truly share their love and adoration for one another.
5. Beyonce Being “Normal”
We love Bey (who doesn’t?) and we want to see the side that shows us she’s just as human as we are. Does she laugh at herself? Does she get pimples? Flaws and all, we just want Bey.
