Most of us have dabbling into the cyber world of sexting. Sending naughty text messages to your boo is a way to build sexual tension and get through an otherwise boring work day.
But, the act of sexting could potentially backfire if you don’t know how to do it properly. Read our rules of sexting to keep your “sext” life hot and steamy. —Terry Carter Jr.
1. Make sure you’re texting the right person.
How embarrassing would it be if you accidentally sent your mom or dad a naked picture or dirty text message? We don’t even want to imagine. Always check that the recipient of your naughty SMS text is the for your boo’s eyes only.

2. Use Limited Emojis
One of the best things about the iPhone are those cute little emojis people use to convey emotions. When sexting, you don’t want to over use them. Excessive use of emojis can make your sexy digital flirting seem childish.

3. Off with your head!
If you are sending out nude pictures of yourself, the smartest way to make sure you remain anonymous (in case your pictures ever leak out) is to crop your head out of the picture. Sure, it might sound like a little bit of work but you’ll be thankful you did it later. Just as a precautionary.

Picture this: You’re both hot and ready to go and then all of a sudden your partner falls asleep. That’s exactly what it’s like when you send a sexy text message and have to wait forever for a reply. Minutes feel like hours, and waiting ruins the moment of instant excitement.

5. Avoid Abbreviations
Technology makes everything seem like it has to be shortened, but not when sexting. Abbreviations could cause confusion. Sexting is all about giving as much details as possible to let the other person’s imagine run wild.

6. Spell Check
You don’t have to be a spelling bee champ to get your freak on, but typos could easily be the worst mood killer. “Show me your clock” isn’t exactly as sexy as what you intended to type. Proof read your message before hitting send.

7. Save, Delete, and Lock
Its important to remember that sexting isn’t really sex! It’s temporary visual stimulation. The best thing to do with those naughty photos is to save the ones you really like, delete the ones you don’t, and put a password lock your phone so no one is ever able to find out about your steamy sext sessions.
