
It’s surprising to see men cry but to see celebrity men who cried in public, is a huge shocker.
Jay Z has let his song cry both metaphorically and literally. In an interview with MTV, Jeezy revealed that Hov got emotional while penning a verse for Jeezy’s “Seen It All.” “We got on the phone and [Jay] was like, ‘Yo, Jeezy, when I was writing the verse I had tears in my eyes, man,’ because it took him so far back to Marcy,”’ said Jeezy.
Few things are more touching than seeing macho men show true emotions. For a man to tear up about something important, it reminds us that no matter how hard he might appear, he’s still human. Here are a few male celebrities who were man enough to cry and not apologize for it.

Oklahoma City Thunder star KD made his mother, Wanda Pratt, “the real MVP” when he was given the NBA’s highest honor in May. Tears streamed down his face as he delivered the beautiful speech dedicated to his mom, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

August Alsina
Admitting to being a sensitive person who wears his heart on his sleeves, the NOLA native cried behind his shades after winning Best New Artist at this year’s BET Awards. Later at the after party, the R&B singer also said if someone makes him so angry to the point where he’s crying, he might want to kill them.

Pharrell
During an interview with Oprah, superproducer and songwriter Pharrell couldn’t help but cry when he saw the positive affect that his hit song “Happy” had on people. As he and Oprah watched a small clip of people around the world in their own versions of the “Happy” music video, he became overwhelmed and shed a few tears, making Oprah quickly follow suit.
