Angel Haze is undoubtedly bold on her new single, “Impossible”. The third single from her untitled studio LP gives off rock vibes in its best rap form and is coated in real lyrics sure to piss a few people off.
Haze makes a strong announcement on the track, proclaiming “I say what I mean,” and does just that with mentions of considering suicide, homemade grenades, racial slurs, and some words (with a middle finger or two) to White America for “trying to whitewash [her] blackness.” Over heavily-infused snare drums that give off a militant feel, the 23-year-old oozes confidence over the chorus, rapping “I just rose from the ashes again/Defeat all my obstacles/There is nothing that can hold me down/That shit is impossible.”
Angel Haze’s “Impossible” definitely provides a solid indication that the rapper is returning stronger than ever from 2013’s Dirty Gold. Give her latest track a spin.
