Last week, Rihanna and Shakira premiered their steamy music video, “Can’t Remember to Forget You” online. A sexy visual of the exotic beauties dressed in lingerie and frolicking together is an ideal fantasy for most men. However, Colombian politician Marco Fidel Ramirez is not too pleased (or aroused).
The politician from Shakira’s native land has criticized the video for “promoting lesbianism.”
“Shakira’s new video is a shameless case of lesbianism and immorality. It is a danger to children,” Ramirez tweeted.
He has even started a petition to ban the video from being televised on any of the nation’s channels. The animosity is apparently not affecting the video’s popularity; “Can’t Remember to Forget You” has racked up more than 60 million views on YouTube since premiering last Friday.
