As a kid, Easter for me meant waking up to a HUGE basket filled with chocolate candies, brightly-colored jelly beans, fake green grass and my absolute favorite: yellow Peeps. You know, the marshmallow candies, shaped into chicks, bunnies and other cute animals. So image my delight when I stumbled across Philosophy’s Sugar Chick that smells just like the yummy spring treat. Normally, I’m not a fan of shower gels and soaps that smell like foods (with the exception of Carols Daughters Chocolat Smoothing Shampoo. Love it!) But, Philosophy hit the ball out the park with this one. It’s not too sweet or overpowering, and the smell actually lingers for quite a few hours. I’m even thinking about stealing the recipe (on the bottle) and making some of my own tasty delights.
If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for the next best lip balm as well…
The guys at eos have crafted smooth sphere’s that not only meet my criteria, but are 95% organic and packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E. Shaped just like an Easter egg (smiles!), its tiny smooth sphere makes gliding the product on my lips a breeze. And I don’t have to worry about washing my hands to apply the product; you just twist off the top and apply. Easy breezy. My favorite scent is summer fruit (the red one), but they have 5 other flavors to try, including my second favorite, Lemon Drop that has an SPF of 15.
Happy Easter ladies!
