August 24 marks the fifth Beyoncé performance at MTV’s annual VMAs and this one is definitely a game-changer. King Bey is nominated for more awards this year than any other artist or band. The “Drunk In Love” singer is nominated for eight Moonmen from her self-titled album Beyoncé and will be performing alongside some of this year’s heavy hitters including Ariana Grande, Usher, Taylor Swift and more.
The R&B diva will be performing live at the Forum in Inglewood, CA and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Her nominated works include “Drunk In Love” for Video of the Year and Best Collaboration, “Partition” for Best Female Video and Best Choreography, and lastly, “Pretty Hurts” for Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Video With a Social Message.
