According to That Grape Juice, J.Records is reported to be on the front line to snatch Ms. Norwood up into a major deal.
Though a deal has not yet been confirmed, the record label has been hinting about it on their website, posting headlines involving the 32-year-old, something that is usually exclusively reserved for their personal clients. Speculation grew further after J.Records label executive, Breyon Prescott was spotted on the trailer for her new documentary, On My Own. Brandy also added to speculation herself when she retweeted a tweet from a fan betting she’s signed to the label.
If Brandy were to join J.Records, she would join a group focused on the promotion of R&B musicians. The record label is a house to well respected vocalists such as Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, and Monica. Scheming to keep fans on their heels, an official announcement is believed to be impending.
