While we are waiting for Cara Delevingne to make her first, full fledged collaboration in the beauty industry (hint: an eyebrow collection of some sort), it looks like downtown chic fashion label DKNY snagged the young model in the meantime.
On Wednesday (Oct. 1), Delevingne revealed a special collab collection. Which of course boasted of the model’s usual off-duty essentials—cute crop tops, athletic jumpsuits, graphic tees, comfy beanies and bomber jackets.
Cara further dished to Vogue UK, “I first started to work with DKNY almost two years ago. They always encouraged my design input, my personal style and my ideas from the very beginning of our working relationship. Our creative synergy only grew with time and before you knew it we were exchanging ideas for a jumpsuit. It was an organic process and it made sense. DKNY is urban and edgy but most of all, it’s individual! They truly embrace the weirdness in all of us, so you can really be yourself.”
Launching on October 15 at DKNY Stores, DKNY.com, Net-a-porter, Shopbop.com and a slew of other retailers, we’re betting that this collection will be the uniform of all self-proclaimed tomboys and hipster chicks this season.
