Money, power and fame often make celebrities act an absolute fool or somehow think they’re oblivious to the “you know better than that” rule. Whenever that happens we’re all too eager to remind them a) you’ve lost your mind, b) you need more people and c) we’d like you to go sit in the corner now.
This week, the young, rich, and famous acted a little more civilized than most, but there are some who are still making us question why they really thought their behavior was okay.
Here are the celebs we’re inviting to have a seat this week…
Gabriel Aubry
Halle Berry’s legal battle with Gabriel Aubry is like the custody case that never ends, and though sometimes we feel like Halle should just wrap this whole mess up and get off to France with her fiancé, we see why she’s fighting her baby’s daddy.
Despite being a super successful model, Gabe has said forget the village, it takes $20,000 a month to raise a child. With a straight face, this man has really requested that Halle pay him that much in child support to be able to provide an adequate home for Nahla when she’s with him, and so they can visit his family in Canada. For his greedy, free-loading, exploitative, non-being-a-man request, we’re sentencing him to the whole back row of courtroom seats.
This former NFL star is making it pretty difficult to feel sympathy for him supposedly being jumped by Pilar. After uploading a picture of him and his kids filling out police reports, he went on to do an interview with Good Morning America this week that basically made him look super sleazy and manipulative. Any man who’s happy his kids witnessed their mother assault their father is a tad suspect. He’s clearly using those boys as a pawn. Not cool.
Tamar and Towanda Braxton
Tamar admitted to being in her feelings when she questioned Jill Scott’s tweet last night to support Mary Mary on WEtv. Jill said the show was finally giving a positive representation of women and Tamar took offense because Braxton Family Values is on the same network, then she proceeded to start a Twitter beef that Towanda later jumped in. Both sisters claimed Jill was hating on them and their show when we’re pretty sure her tweet had absolutely nothing to do them. Later, when a follower called Tamar out on her foolishness, she told him to have all the seats in the Staple Center…we’re going to invite her to do the same.
We don’t care what story Kim Kardashian came up with to justify why Kanye’s pants were not on his waist when he was dining with her earlier this week. The whole situation screams publicity stunt, and you can probably count on ‘Ye being on this list every week that we have to watch him and Kim out and about on dates in matching outfits in NYC.
With Gilbert, we’re just trying to figure out how he thinks it’s okay to drop a lawsuit against his now fiancée Laura Govan, but request the option to re-file in case she gets out of line on the next season of Basketball Wives. Isn’t that pretty much saying you don’t trust the woman you’ve been with for 10 years, have four kids with and whose finger you put a ring on? We’re not necessarily mad at the initial gag order, but can’t you all agree that she won’t talk about you on the show and that’s that. I mean if you can’t handle that without legal proceedings, how are you going to uphold vows?
