2013 was a life changing career for many celebs, whether it was their career or love lives. However, between multiple arrests, cheating and album tanks, there are also some who many want to forget the past 12 months. Since we are less than 24 hours away from a new year, let’s celebrates those celebs that marked this year as one to remember. Here are 20 celebs who had the best 2013 ever.

Justin Bieber–-Worst Year
While he was trying to be a bad boy, Bieber lost some of his core fans. He already disrespected Anne Frank’s importance, defaced Brazil property and lost lots of ticket sales from his actions in overseas concerts. However, he’s still young and can bounce back.
Paula Deen–-Worst Year
It wasn’t Paula Deen’s use of the n-word that ruined her year; it was her non-apologetic attitude towards the situation that did the trick. Two terribly orchestrated forgiveness videos later, her food empire was demolished. She lost many of her heavy deals over this ordeal making 2013 a year she will try to forget ever happened.
Lupita Nygon’o–-Best Year
If you would have said “Lupita” a year ago, no one would have known who she was, but today, she’s the new “it” girl in Hollywood. Covering various magazines and dominating her movie debut in 12 Years a Slave; we would be happy to trade places with her.
Chris Brown–-Worst Year
Let’s just say the past few years weren’t the best for Breezy, but 2013 was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Arrest after arrest, violating his parole and a supposed “hit and run” have all landed him in a rehab facility.
Orange is the New Black cast–-Best Year
Thanks to us (smiles), OITNB landed their first cover while getting even more recognition as one of the top Netflix shows going into their second season.
Shonda Rhimes–Best Year
Shonda Rhimes could say the past few decades have been good to her, but 2013 was monumental. Scandal’s season premiere made record breaking numbers, Kerry Washington was nominated for her first Emmy and on top of all that, she welcomed a new son.
Miley Cyrus–-Best/Worst Year
We aren’t sure if she’s having the best or worst year ever. Her album was great, her image was questionable and her romance relationship with Liam Hemsworth was ruined.
Kerry Washington--Best Year
This was the year for Kerry. Between all her magazine covers and nominations with Scandal, she managed to secretly wed and get pregnant.

Lady Gaga–Worst Year
Her camp reportedly put $25 million in promotions for her album Artpop just for it to be the biggest flop. To add salt to the wound, Beyonce spent about $25 million less in promotions and her album went platinum…ouch, that burns!

Evelyn Lozada–-Best Year
While 2012 proved to be a life lesson to this mean girl of reality TV, it seems 2013 has showered Evelyn Lozada with love. She’s pregnant with her second child and engaged to be married.

Tamar Braxton–-Best Year
She created her own spotlight in music. She already dominated her sister’s show The Braxton Family Values, but now she’s a respected artist. She gave birth to her son and also worked on her own spin-off while dropping her debut album. Kudos to Tamar!
Lamar Odum–Worst Year
If you ever wanted to know how to mess up your career, marriage and life in a matter of months, just ask Lamar. This year, he managed to lose his stake in the Kardashian empire, head to rehab and who knows where his career is headed. It could be worst…no it couldn’t.
Ciara–-Best Year
Dropped one of her best albums to date and got engaged! Plus the baby mill is in full churn, but we’re waiting for an official announcement.
Rihanna–-Best Year
Rihanna went into 2013 having the best year ever and she managed to top it. She made history with the most number 1 records ever on Billboard. She also snagged AMA’s first ever Icon Award.
Justine Sacco–Worst Year
If you ever questioned the power of Twitter, just ask former PR Exec for IAC, Justine Sacco, whose insensitive tweet landed her jobless before she could rectify the situation. After tweeting “Going to Africa. Hope I don’t get AIDS. Just kidding. I’m White,!” the director boarded a flight from London to South Africa. Just like Beyonce, her one move turned her into a mini celeb and her name was the trendiest alongside #HasJustineLandedYet. Unfortunately, her move was the worst move of the year.
Kevin Hart–Best Year
Kevin Hart has been having the best few years, but 2013 was the greatest. His TV show Real Husbands of Hollywood, movie Let Me Explain and Grudge Match and various magazine covers have all been successes. But you can bet he’ll be on this list again next year with 3 movies set to come out next summer.
Beyonce–-Best Year
There’s no question why Beyonce had the best year ever, but lets run it down:
-GQ voted her “Sexiest Woman”
-Sang in her second presidential inauguration
-Singlehandedly shut down the Super Bowl
-Became the face of H&M
-Went on a tour and extended it because records were selling too fast
-Dropped a platinum album in a weekend and ruined all other artist’s year.
