It is recognized for housing one of the best basketball teams the NBA has ever seen and breeding some of hip-hop’s most lyrical emcees, the city is also known to be one of the deadliest and most violent. Now Diddy’s trying to revert the negative image and bring the Chicago love back.
Created by Sean “Diddy” Combs and produced by REVOLT CEO Keith Clinkscales and head of news Rahman Dukes, is the eye-opening documentary Chicago Love. The special film encloses all aspects of the truth about the city of Chicago exposing how the city’s failing school system, community, music, and violence all play a role in the developing outbreak of violence that is consuming the lives of the youth.
REVOLT TV used Lollapalooza weekend to respectfully shed light to the victims of gun violence and rising artists to show and their parallel to real-life in “chi-raq.” Due to a recent turn of events—more specifically Ferguson—this film is more relevant than ever and is apart of an ongoing effort to provide a solution for the violence in Chicago. You can watch the 90-minute movie on REVOLT TV and can get specific viewing times on REVOLT.TV/chicagolove.
