Now that Chris Brown is free, word has it that BET is trying to snag him for a reality show and is in search of a production company. But does Breezy really need a reality show? For musicians, these shows can be used to revive careers or show a different side of that artist. His career is alive and well and thanks to social media we’ve seen many sides of the 25-year-old. Flip through and read why Chris Brown having a reality show is unnecessary.

There won’t be much mystery left to him.
Though many hate on Breezy, no one really knows what he is like behind the scenes—and that’s a good thing. People like Beyonce have maintained their image because no matter what is put on blogs or the television, no one really knows what she is like, which makes it even sweeter when we do get glimpses into their life. He already lets us in a great deal on Instagram and Twitter, so with a reality show, there won’t be much to wonder about when it comes to him anymore. Do we really want that?
It could be exposure overkill.
Chris Brown is already one of the biggest musicians of this generation, which means a lot of (negative and positive) attention. Between his Instagram and TMZ, we see enough of the “Loyal” singer. Having a reality show would just give him too much exposure.
The legal troubles may dominate the conversation instead of the music.
Yes he is out of the county jail, but he still has legalities that have be dealt with. This means more court dates and a possible trial. Capturing all that on camera may lead to his run ins with the law outshining what matters, the music.
The cameras may push Breezy over the edge.
Chris Brown still may be a little fragile right now. Following a stressful rehab stint and jail time, Breezy still needs time to be with loved ones and heal from everything he has been through in the past few years. He has yet to take an extended amount of time to stay out of the spotlight and work on himself. Having cameras in his face during vulnerable times may set him off in ways we may not want to see.
It may not be good for his relationship.
Chris and Karrueche seem to be on good terms and bringing cameras and pre-scripted scenarios into the mix may cause unnecessary drama. Imagine what rudeness RiRi would bring a la Twitter if this show hit the tube? It may be juicy to watch but could potentially run his ride-or-die-off.
