Three months ago, Chris Brown was sentenced to an intense anger management rehab and today, we’re seeing the results of that much needed help. Yesterday (Feb. 28), during a routine court hearing for his domestic violence case involving Rihanna, it was revealed that the troubled singer has been inappropriately self-medicating a series of mental illnesses.
According to TMZ, “– an official from the rehab facility wrote that … in addition to his diagnosis … Chris was self-medicating inappropriately. The facility writes, ‘Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.’
While the cause of his PTSD is unknown, the specified mental illness is said to be bipolar disorder.
In addition to now being on the right kind of medications, “Chris has learned various relaxation exercises, according to the letter, and he’s tested negative for drugs, including weed, during his stay” and is “beyond exemplary in regard to his community service responsibilities.” As of today, the judge has reportedly order the singer to return to rehab for more treatment.
We’re happy to see Breezy make so much progress in his personal life. Let’s hope these breakthroughs will aid in a proper professional comeback this year.
