As controversial as R&B singer Chris Brown is, there are still brands out there willing to give him a chance to prove how profitable he can be. Wilhelmina International has just signed the “Don’t Judge Me” singer to its artist management division, where his agent will seek beauty and fashion endorsements.
WWD reports that Brown might be “a difficult sell to image conscious advertisers” due to the 2009 Rihanna assault situation, but the agency is still ready to place their bet on him. “Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand,” stated the director of Wilhelmina Men, Taylor Hendrich.
“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life,” Chris says who recently rocked a high fashion spread in Prestige magazine. “It’s evolved with me throughout my career.”
Wilhelmina is on a current signing role, after announcing a deal with Keri Hilson and Iggy Azalea earlier this year. Until we see what Wilhelmina does for Breezy, check out his Top 10 Fashion Moments.
