The Chris Brown and Rihanna reign just won’t let up.
Still promoting his music, Brown sat down with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and as expected, Rih Rih became the focus of their interview. While discussing his post-jail life, Kevin inquired about the singer’s current relationship with his ex, “We’re friends. Nothing too serious… We’re not trying to start a life together right now, we’re just having fun.”
Having fun? We doubt his current girlfriend Karrueche would approve of their having fun. But we digress.
Frazier also touched on her influence—if any—on his music off his new album X. The title track “X,” sounds like a final goodbye to his former lover as well as “Drunk Texting” seems to be inspired by the bajan beaut. However Chris Brown affirms nothing on the album was stimulated by her.
“Oh no, not at all, I think that’s just the fans’ perception or the media’s perception at all times because of our history. But whenever we do music, people can make the assumption and that’s fine because if they buy more because they think that, then go ahead and buy a thousand copies!” He said. “But as far as me writing and going into that, I don’t really try to put my focus on Rihanna every song, at the end of the day it’s almost six, seven years later. It’s like, how many more times am I going to talk about the same situation?”
Vixens, what do you think? Will we see Chrianna reunited once more?
