Apparently Jay Z’s line “when a good girls gone bad, she’s gone forever” also applies to men. Chris Brown’s road to redemption is once again tainted since the singer allegedly violated an “internal rule” at his rehab facility and was subsequently thrown in jail.
Earlier today (Mar 14), the LA County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that there was a warrant for Brown’s arrest. They also note that the “New Flame”singer was cooperative when taken into custody and transported to the Inmate Reception Center of the LA County jail without bail.
The department has since released a statement on the grounds of his warrant:
“The warrant was issued related to assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats crimes which occurred on February 7, 2009, in the City of Los Angeles. The incidents were investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and prosecuted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The warrant was issued for a probation violation related to his conviction.”
We aren’t making any excuses, but it seemed like Breezy was in better company and spirits since his release. Maybe Karrueche was the glue that held his violent episodes together.
There’s no exact word on what got him booted from rehab, but we’re hoping he gets it together.
