Just days after being booted from a rehab facility, Chris Brown was ordered to remain in jail until at least April 23 when his upcoming assault case in Washington, D.C. begins. According to inside sources, the troubled singer is being kept behind bars because of his “inability to stay out of trouble.”
During the mandatory court appearance, Chris was also denied a request to wear civilian clothes and instead forced to don an orange jumpsuit and shackles (above). Shortly after being sentenced, his mother Joyce Hawkins could be seen sobbing loudly in opposition to the judge’s decision.
TMZ also reports that Breezy broke several rules during his court-ordered rehab stay, including hurling insults during a group therapy session, refusing a drug test and going within two feet of the opposite sex. In addition to his legal troubles, a previously announced duet with Ariana Grande has been postponed until further notice.
Let’s hope jail time equates self-reflection for Brown.
