Cyber bullying is getting more and more out of hand. Yesterday (Oct 23), Chrissy Teigen was the latest victim of some very aggressive thumb-thuggin’ after simply sharing her personal opinions. After the shooting in Canada this week, she tweeted her thoughts on how very differently gun violence and tragedy is depicted in America.
“Active shooting in Canada, or as we call it in america, wednesday,” she said. While she intended to point out how commonplace shootings are in America, the Twitterverse (especially Canadians) took it as an insensitive jab, wreaking havoc in her mentions. Eventually she clarified her statements for her volatile timeline saying it was a “knock against America and our issues with gun control,” but not before they started piling on the death threats.
