Coach was the bag brand to own back in the 1990s. Dig through your mother’s handbag collection and you’re sure to find some classic purses by the brand with its supple leather and signature turn-lock. Although Coach is still considered an iconic label today, its hype has dramatically fizzled. It’s mainly due to the introduction of logo bags and outdated designs that simply don’t appeal to the current generation of fashion enthusiast’s tastes. We’ll pass on the “C” emblazoned tote bags, Vixens.
Succeeding Reed Krakoff, designer Stuart Vevers has stepped up as Coach’s new creative director and is pushing the brand in a new direction. This change is definitely apparent in the Fall 2014 ad campaign which is edgy, fresh and effortlessly cool. We are ready to embrace the makeover aren’t you?
