Yesterday (Mar. 26), after receiving bad press for his scandalous bar fight in Los Angeles last week, an L.A. judge issued a warrant for Columbus Short’s arrest . The Scandal star decided to turn himself in and possibly get a fresh start from his violent history. A bond has been set for $50,000, but if convicted, the young actor can face a maximum sentence of 4 years in prison.
His previous violent history includes an arrest for allegedly attacking his wife in front of his children. Reportedly, the physical attack occurred in the family’s home in Woodland Hills where the couple supposedly put on a show for their 2 and 10 year old children. Short was charged with spousal battery and child abuse pleading “not guilty” to both.
Perhaps the superstar can finally “handle” his business and stay out of trouble.
