“Single Ladies”- Tyra Banks Show
It’s no secret that Beyoncé and Tyra are great friends. While the diva has made several appearances on the now-cancelled talk show, her “Single Ladies” performance is top notch. Backed by an all-female band and male background dancers, it’s hard to deny her superior showmanship. Fierce, indeed.

“Run The World (Girls)”- 2011 Billboard Music Awards
You already knew this would be on the list. Cutting edge technology, an army of dancers and a knock-em’-dead costume? This is King Bey at her best. This performance had the audience on its feet and sent Twitter into a tizzy. Who runs the world? She does!

“Halo” Acoustic- Signapore Hospital
In 2009, Beyoncé broke out an impromptu performance of “Halo” to patients at a Singapore hospital. Not only did it show off her natural talent, but her desire to give back.
“I Was Here”- Roseland Ballroom
I’ll never forget the disappointment of missing out on tickets to Beyoncé’s Roseland Ballroom performances. Luckily, we were still able to witness the magic via YouTube and a DVD release. Her performance of “I Was Here” interjected with flashback videos and images made it one of her most emotional moments on stage.
“Deja Vu”- 2006 BET Awards
If there’s one thing Beyoncé is known for, it’s her bootylicious figure. She gave us rump shaking at its best with this performance and brought hubby Jay-Z along for the ride. You ready? Let’s go get ’em.
“Love on Top”- 2011 MTV Video Music Awards
“I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” With those words and a belly rub, Beyoncé made VMA history when she revealed she was pregnant with Blue Ivy Carter. Jay-Z and Kanye‘s (and even Lady Gaga‘s) reaction at the end is priceless.
“Proud Mary” – 2008 Grammy Awards
Beyoncé can hold her own with music legends, too. In 2008, she went toe for toe with Tina Turner to perform a rousing rendition of “Proud Mary.”

“Ring The Alarm”- 2006 MTV Video Music Awards
In her second solo performance for the VMA’s, Baddie Bey made trench coats trendy with this dance-heavy performance. Some consider the 1-minute dance break an ode to Janet Jackson, just one of the many artists that have influenced Bey’s live acts.
The Star Spangled Banner- 2004 Superbowl
Still complaining about Beyoncé’s inauguration performance? Swallow your words after watching her flawless rendition of the national anthem nine years ago.
“Dangerously In Love”- 2006 Grammy Awards
Leave it to the pop superstar to bring the dramatics. During this performance, people behind her were set up to look like a moving painting. She ended the performance with a dove landing on her left arm. Gotta love it.
