Getting married is cheap, but a potential divorce is costly and if you’re famous, it can be ridiculously outlandish without a prenuptial agreement.
Gabrielle Union is the latest celeb to get her paperwork in order as she gets closer to “I do” with Dwyane Wade. Like others, she learned from the mistakes of the love-stricken celebs that got hitched (and divorced) sans the written agreement. While it doesn’t guarantee marital bliss, it does protect and ensure investments of their millions.

In their original prenup, Elin was to walk away with $20 million as long as they were married for at least 10 years. However, after his cheating scandals, she demanded a rewritten prenup that let her walk away with $750 million.

If they ever divorce, not only would we all weep, but Jay would lose millions automatically. In their prenup, Bey gets $10 million if the marriage were to end before 2 years. He then has to pay her $1 million for each year they were married (up to 15 years) and $5 million for each child she bears.
Yvette and Michael Jordan
Taking a page out of his own book of loses, Michael Jordan wrote up a prenuptial agreement for his impending marriage to Yvette. If they ever divorce, she gets $1 million for each year they were married. If they last 10 years, she gets $5 mil for each year.
