On August 9, 2014, 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. Since then much of America has been waiting to find out if any charges would be filed against the officer. Finally today, three months later, the verdict has arrive.
As St. Louis locals, Brown’s family members, and others stationed themselves outside the local police station, St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert P. McCulloch, announced the grand jury decided against indicted Officer Darren Wilson for the death of the college bound teen.
McCulloch said, the jury worked diligently over 25 days, hearing more than 70 hours of testimony from 60 witnesses and three medical examiners and found no probable cause existed to indict Officer Wilson.
We send our deepest condolences to the family of Mike Brown.
