Lincoln Motor Company is hoping to inspire others with their new campaign series “The Journey” by tapping into 7 black artists that have followed their dreams and inspired others to do the same.
They kick off their branded program with record breaking and history making singer/songwriter Emeli Sandé as she shares her “journey of unconditional love”.
“My ambition in releasing music was never really commercial—the opportunities have been both incredible and humbling. I like working with people who inspire me that I feel comfortable with and see what comes,” she revealed in her docu-style interview.
She’s joined in the campaign by “individuals that have such inspiring journeys that quite frankly resonate with the brand attributes of Lincoln Motor Company,” said Shawn Thompson, Lincoln Manager, multicultural marketing. Filmmaker Nelson George, artist Afua Richardson, director Kenny Leon; award-winning artist Danny Simmons, photographer Terrrence A. Reese, and acclaimed couture designer Bobby Joseph will all be featured in the 7-part series.
