If you’ve been keeping up with ABC’s The View, you’re aware of the rotating hosts, on-camera spats, and rumors of behind-the-scenes turmoil. Former co-host Jenny McCarthy, who was let go from the all-women panel talk show after only one season, says the show will be cancelled unless they stop acting like a “serial dater,” explaining:
“I only say that (will happen) if they don’t stick to that idea — which is to allow something to simmer rather than transitioning so many different things, like, change a chair, change a table, change the background, change the people. It’s like a serial dater. Stick with one boyfriend and don’t go on Tinder. Give that relationship all you’ve got and ride through the bumps and waves.”
The 42-year-old, who is also the cousin of Hollywood actress Melissa McCarthy, spoke to the New York Daily News, advising the show’s producers to pick a formula and stick with it. The set has dramatically been redesigned, the show’s time slot was moved they’re now under the news division instead of the daytime division.
