Could the Basketball Wives empire soon be just a memory? Evelyn Lozada is the second cast member of the flagship cast to consider leaving the show this year. During a sit down with Huffington Post, the New York native expressed interest in continuing reality television under her own terms.
“I signed on to do five seasons and this is our fifth. I don’t really see me doing a sixth season. I know I can carry my own show, pretty much carried this one. I would do my own show because I know I would have creative control. I’m in a different space, I’m open to doing a spin-off, but just not with a cast of women.”
The former Vixen cover girl also dishes on controlling her anger thanks to life coaches Iyanla Vanzant and Tony Gaskins, both of whom she still works with.
“I made a promise last season to just be a better example. That’s why I chose to be a mature lady and make my life coach very happy and I sat down and if she [Tami Roman] wanted to act crazy and make herself look crazy; that’s fine.”
