Balmain is a prominent fashion house that has sustained it’s “IT” factor identity over a lengthy amount of time. Every collection is just a reminder of why the illustrious brand is sought after by so many. Olivier Rousteing found bold inspiration in the City of Angels. He combined his muse with his glorious talents and a pinch of 70s flavor to create the Balmain Resort 2015 collection.
The color palette featured a classic combination of black and white, glistening gold and aqua blue. 70s inspired tuxedo dresses were created along with long-line zip-front blazers, high waist flare trousers, and strategically decorated ponchos. Leather, gold metal, fringes, ruffles, transparency, and beading were all factors in the making of the Balmain Resort 2015 collection.
