We got a sneak peek of the first trailer, back in July featuring an exclusive version of Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love,” but it was the premiere of trailer #2 during Scandal’s commercial break that got us fired.
The second Fifty Shades of Grey trailer debuted last night and put to rest the rumors that the film, based off of best selling author, E.L. James’ trilogy, wasn’t as racy or scandalous as the novels. The first trailer played it safe and only showed glimpses of interactions between Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) but producers turned it up a notch and gave us more peeks into Grey’s infamous “Red Room of Pain,” glimpses of S&M (duh) and Beyoncé’s “Haunted” this time around.
The two-and-a-half minute trailer already has over 1.4 million views on one of the film’s official YouTube account. Two new posters were also released this week to keep the Fifty Shades momentum going, featuring Anastasia biting her lip and Grey with his signature tie that takes us back to some naughty moments in the book. We’re not sure we can wait until the movie’s release date, so we’ll replay this until a third trailer is released – if we get that. Sam Taylor-Johnson’s adaptation of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy hits the big screen on Valentine’s Day 2015.
