The greatest, most live show on Earth, the MTV VMA’s dominated the night as everyone’s topic of conversation—the tea and shade dished on social media was too hot to handle. Throughout the show’s 30 years of existence, we are always marveled by the fashions that are pedaled up and down the red carpet, but most of the times we were left in shock at the scandalous stunts celebrities pull, unashamed at the total fashion disasters or pieces of dental floss they are claiming as a frock. Regardless, the VMA’s have bred not only the most iconic in music but fashion as well, whether it be good or bad. FAIL: Amber Rose Amber channeled her inner Philly chick days on the red carpet. This chain link contraption is quite similar to something Rose McGowan donned to the VMA’s in 1998 and was a fail back then and hasn’t much changed today.
FAIL: Taylor Swift Sorry, Ms. Swift but Beyonce has the best leotards of all time.
FAIL: Rita Ora How much red is too much is what we want to ask Rita. And where is a tailor and seamstress when you need one?
FAIL: Miley Cyrus We must admit, we prefer Miley with all the bells and whistles no matter how insane it looks. We’re over leather and this two piece ensemble isn’t particularly doing it for us, sigh.
FAIL: Katy Perry Katy stuck with her usual antics of over the top, comedic relief-inspired outfits. But what we’re more concerned with is why is she with Riff Raff?
