Grizzlies NBA star Gilbert Arenas is turning over a new leaf and is now deciding to make things right with his fiancee, Basketball Wives LA star Laura Govan. Gilbert recently announced he is dropping the lawsuit he filed against Laura, preventing her from using his name and likeness for profit on the Vh1 reality show. Although things seem to be going well for the two, he made sure to add a clause to the agreement stating that he can reactivate the terms of the lawsuit at any point and time. I’m sure he did that as a precautionary measure, just in case they break up again. It was reported that Vh1 producers are adamant about getting the lawsuit permanently dismissed.
In other reality TV news…
Love & Hip-Hop star Emily B. announced via Twitter that she will not return for the 3rd season.
“There will be a 3rd Season of #loveandhiphop NY but I will not be a cast member. The show was a great experience.. Thank you Mona & Stefan
But…. You won’t miss me for long 😉 hmmm.. #Vh1″
It seems like she was implying we haven’t seen the last of her. We’re not really sure how a spin-off show would work considering Fab wasn’t willing to be on Love & Hip-Hop before, but only time will tell.
Former Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon and TV personality Julissa Bermudez are in the process of filming their own reality show, Empire Girls. Cameras will follow the two ladies around New York City, documenting their journey in show business and finding love. Adrienne and Julissa have previously worked together when they co-starred in the MTV film All You’ve Got in 2008.
The show is set to air on the Style network on June 3 at 9 p.m. EST. Vixens, will you be watching?
