Jill Scott Rihanna and actresses Jennifer Lawrence, Megan Good and Gabrielle Union are among the few women who’s privacy was invaded in the biggest celebrity hack in history dubbed “The Fappening.”
Lawyer Marty Singer who represents more than a dozen of the women affected, wrote a letter to Google founders Wednesday (Oct.1) accusing them of their gross mishandling of the crime and “blatantly unethical behavior.” Singer even goes as far as to compare Google’s idleness in the matter to that of the NFL’s handling of the Ray Rice scandal.
“[Google failed] to act expeditiously, and responsibly to remove the images, but in knowingly accommodating, facilitating, and perpetuating the unlawful conduct. Google is making millions and profiting from the victimization of women.”
