Iggy Azalea is trying to put an end to an alleged sex tape but the porn industry won’t let her be great.
TMZ reports that Iggy and her team are trying to fight porn company Vivid Entertainment to keep them from marketing a sex tape allegedly features her in it. The pap site claims to have obtained a letter that was sent to Vivid by Iggy’s lawyers stating that the name Iggy Azalea is protected by U.S. Trademark, which means they cannot use it on work that she’s not committing herself to. If Vivid disregards that letter and releases the tape with her name on it, it can be assumed that a lawsuit will be put into place.
Her ex-boyfriend, rapper Hefe Wine, spoke to TMZ Live Friday (Sept 12) and said that that is indeed the blonde Aussie and that she was “100% fully aware” they were taping an X-rated tape. He also disputed reports that Iggy was a minor in the video, claiming that he met her when she was 18. However the mystery’s still open on how the video reach Vivid as the rapper claims he didn’t leak the video, his hard drive was stolen.
Reports have been back and forth about whether it is truly Iggy Azalea in the sex tape or not. First, her legal team said there was no Iggy Azalea sex tape at all and then refuted their statement saying that it may be her and she may have been a minor. Iggy, on the other hand, has yet to make an official statement regarding the situation.
