Jennifer Lopez is sharing wisdom from her past relationships and talks mental and emotional abuse in new memoir, True Love.
The 45-year old singer and actress, doesn’t get into depth and leaves out details regarding her three marriages, stating, “I would never go into specifics about my relationships, and I don’t. But the idea was that I learned something.”
Lopez shares something women can relate to when discussing a common factor she noticed in all of her relationships:
“Throughout my life, I’ve had a few serious relationships. Each relationship was different and each relationship had its issues. But there was on thing they all had in common: They all had a passionate intensity that I mistook, every time, for my happily ever after. Reality is hard to see through the adrenaline rush of a new love. It’s easy to project your hopes and dreams onto a relationship when it’s new and exciting.”
In the memoir, Jenny reveals Ben Affleck was her first true heartbreak and Marc Anthony. You’ll also learn about her six year old twins Max and Emme, the importance of self-love and wanting honesty and fidelity in her partner.
