Over the past 48 hours the love triangle of Kehlani, PartyNextDoor, and Kyrie Irving has been the hot topic of conversation on social media.
Earlier today (Mar. 30), after the chaos of the You Should Be Here singer trying to commit suicide simmered down, K. Michelle visited Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” show and spoke on her Atlantic Records label-mate’s situation.
“It’s evil. It’s outright evil,” the More Issues Than Vogue crooner said, regarding the burden of living both your personal and professional in the limelight.
“I can really say I’m to the point where nothing shocks me that people will say or do to you. Her, she’s 20, you know what I’m saying? It’s just started. I can’t imagine what it’s like to not be toughened up by being on TV and being beat up every Monday night. You start to get conditioned to the hate, which is bad to say,” K. Michelle explained in relation to ups and downs she faced on Love & Hip Hop, “She doesn’t have that.”
In addition to shedding light on how grueling the drama of the industry can be, the Memphis crooner sent some words of advice to the 20-year-old Grammy-nominate singer, saying, “Stay focused on what it is; you’re 20. You’ve got a lot of learning to do. You have a lot of love to give and it’s called growing pains. But no growing pains should be to the point where you end it, where you can’t grow no more.”
