
Among her of many talents, Kelly Rowland can now add eyewear designer to her lengthy resume. In collaboration with eyewear brand Smoke x Mirrors, Rowland has released a limited edition 10-piece, four-frame capsule collection, distributed exclusively at Barneys New York.
Smoke x Mirrors’ legendary industrial aesthetic is now dotted with hints of the “Motivation” singer’s glamour. According to The Glow Up, the shades are custom made in Japan and feature stainless steel frames in different colors paired with a full front of nylon lenses. The collection’s four frames are named “Pony I,” “Pony II,” “Pony III,” “Pony IV,” and “Pony C.” But the new fashionable lenses don’t come at a cheap price, they retail for $345 each.
In addition to her new eye wear venture, Kelly had the internet swooning with rumors of a possible collaboration with best fried and Destiny’s Child member, Beyonce. The former music groupmates reportedly had an Instagram page titled, “Rose IV You,” which is only following Kelly, Queen Bey, and Tidal. We’ll just have to stay tuned for the music, but in the meantime, will you be copping a pair of sunglasses?
