Another day, another black actress stars as a stripper in an upcoming film.
However, this time, Lapdace—a film starring LisaRaye who joins her former Single Ladies co-star Stacey Dash—is a “smart” film that features Dash as a professional doctor at the top of her game. On the flip side, LisaRaye stars as an actress who strips (Players Club part II?) to provide for her father who is stricken with cancer. Other actresses include Lynn Whitfield and Obba Babatundé who appear to be the club owners who haunt LisaRaye for their dollars.
The film seems to be a pretty standard stripper film, but let us know what you think from the above trailer.
